The best day of the week!

Sundays at Hope Church

What can I expect?

People usually arrive from about 3:45 pm. When you arrive, there will be someone to welcome you and point you in the right direction. These are warm, friendly times with noisy kids, lovely refreshments, and time to hang out.

We believe that God is really with us in these times. Our meetings are structured to help us engage with and worship Him and so that we might live lives more shaped by Jesus in the week to come. This would almost always include singing together, teaching from the Bible and praying.

We try to do everything in a way that is accessible to folks with no Church background. There is no pressure, so you can join in with as much or as little of that as you feel comfortable.

What about kids?

We’ve got almost as many kids as adults coming along at the moment! We really value these little ones and hope they love Sundays and engage with God.

We understand that Kids tend to make noise and find sitting still dificult! So we think that noise and wriggles mean there’s kids hearing about Jesus, which is as a cause for joy!

Most weeks, we have a time with everyone together. Then a time where kids can go to the other half of the hall to have some age-specific teaching and fun. We have an approved Safeguarding policy to guide our vetted volunteers

On the last Sunday of the month, we have an ‘All Age Service’ with everyone together for the whole time. We try to make this shorter and engaging for kids as well as adults.
